Andreas Lukic, business angel and chairman of Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V., BA Mittelhessen e.V., BA Palatina Rhein-Neckar e.V., is co-founder and managing director of ValueNet Capital Partners GmbH, Frankfurt/Munich, a private investment and consulting company founded in 2000 that carries out investments, financing and M&A transactions in management buy-outs/buy-ins as well as company successions, occasionally participates in growth-oriented companies from the corporate, medium-sized and startup sectors and supports their corporate development. Mr. Lukic is a member of several advisory boards, chairman of the board of the Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V., the Business Angels Mittelhessen e.V., the Business Angels Palatina Rhein-Neckar e.V. and has been active as a business angel since 1999.
Mr. Lukic previously worked at Bain (London, Munich) in the private equity group, in the area of buyouts and growth financing, as well as venture capital. He began his career at Mitchell Madison Group (New York, Frankfurt) in investment advisory. He has a master´s degree in chemical engineering and economics as well as applied cultural studies. He is married and has a daughter.
Mr. Lukic is a Frankfurter by choice and prefers Frankfurt to other places in his life in the USA, UK and Munich and was and is privately involved in a number of local startups. In addition, Lukic supports the professional development of the startup financing chain in the FFM financial center by chairing the business angels associations of the FRM metropolitan region, and provides leadership support for other initiatives, for example in the area of artificial intelligence or corporate/startups coop, the EY Startup Academy, the Frankfurter Sprungfeder of the MCF, and has also initiated and managed formats such as the FintechGermany Award. He is co-author of the “Practical Handbook of Financing Innovations”. In regular cooperation with cities and municipalities, the state of Hesse and the federal government, Andreas Lukic participates in various committees, e.g. in the circle of state chancelleries of the metropolitan region FRM, in FrankfurtForward, at the FFM financial center strategy, the “Financing Chain/VC” and others.
