Stephen is a managing director in the Financial Institutions Group within the Investment Banking Division. He focuses on banks, insurers, alternative asset managers and financial technology companies. Stephen joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 as an associate and was named managing director in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Stephen qualified as a chartered accountant and also worked as an equity analyst covering the financial institutions sector. Stephen earned a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Durham University.
