Jörg Eigendorf

Chief Sustainability Officer, Deutsche Bank
As Chief Sustainability Officer of Deutsche Bank, Jörg Eigendorf is responsible for Deutsche Bank's overall sustainability strategy and its implementation. As such he is the deputy head of the Group Sustainability Committee chaired by the CEO and Co-Chair of the Sustainability Council. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2016 as Global Head of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, which included responsibility for sustainability. Since then, he has been instrumental in shaping the bank's environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy. Before joining Deutsche Bank, he worked for more than two decades as a journalist in Moscow (Die Zeit), Frankfurt and Berlin (Welt). Jörg attended the Cologne School of Journalism and subsequently studied economics at the University of Cologne.
