Jens Siebert, is a Partner at KPMG and member of the Management Consulting Practice for the Financial Services Industry. He is an expert in the transformation of business and operating models of banks, asset managers and market infrastructure providers. He also leads the DLT practice in the banking division of KPMG Germany. Jens is a trusted partner of banks on strategic, operational and regulatory issues in corporate banking as well as securities and capital markets business. One of his consulting focuses is on building DLT-based business models (including DLT securities, custody, registry management) and their operational implementation. As an expert, he has accompanied major legislative processes for DLT-based financial services on a national and European level and contributed his experience as an expert in the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag and in dialogues with federal ministries and regulatory authorities. Before joining KPMG, Jens Siebert was responsible for the development of a pan-European financing platform for SMEs as Co-Founder and COO and built DLT-based business models together with banks and regulated market participants.
