Dr. Stephan Bredt is Director General Economic Sector, Financial Services and Exchanges at the Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Housing in the State of Hessen.
He leads - among others - the development of the Financial Center Frankfurt, the supervision of the Frankfurt exchanges and the public banks, in particular the savings banks, the state bank and the development banks.
Prior to that he worked for Deutsche Bahn and at the German parliament.
